How to calculate the price?
The price of shipping and of some special services is displayed at the stage of shipment registration in the bottom left corner of the shipment adding form. The cost of transportation appears after completing sender and recipient postal codes and the fields specifying the weight, dimensions and quantity of your parcels. You will also find a
Price Calculator in the drop-down menu section. If the account is linked to a confirmed customer number (SAP), the prices displayed therein will be in accordance with the rates in your agreement with DHL eCommerce.
Where can I find an overview of all fees and service specifications, etc.?
How to sign an agreement / receive an offer from DHL eCommerce.
The application does not show my agreement prices / there are discrepancies in the prices.
Make sure your DHL24 account is fully activated (no long notification after signing in is displayed). Verify that the dimensions are not too high. The application also checks the size using a volumetric weight conversion factor and classifies shipments into higher categories. In addition, the standard prices and cash payment may be imposed because of outstanding payments or changes in the contract (e.g. changes entering into force at the end of a certain month). If this is the case, please contact your DHL eCommerce account manager. The last remaining possibility is that the display of prices has been disabled. This is done at explicit request of, e.g., a person in charge in your company or your DHL account manager. The result is that the user can no longer see the prices.
When choosing the shipment billed to the recipient the prices are too high.
In the DHL24 application, we purposely do not display prices for recipients with an agreement. This is due to the fact that they are considered a trade secret. In such cases, the portal will always quote standard prices. The system does not differentiate between a company branch or a completely different business operation. Naturally, the customer will be invoiced according to his contractual rates.** The Recipient – Transfer option is available only to customers with an active agreement with DHL eCommerce. It is important to note that it will appear only if the customer SAP number is matching the payer’s address and if the recipient has agreed to accept shipments on his expense. Please remember to fill in the correct address details of the recipient.
Setting the preferential pallet price list as default in DHL24.
If you have an agreement for “DHL Parcel Max - Pallet Price List”, we recommend that you set up a default template to avoid any discrepancies in shipping rates. In an empty new shipment form, simply enter weight and dimensions of the pallet base, e.g. Euro 120 x 80 cm, and select Type of Shipping Service (as shown in the example below). Next, click the
Save As Template button. Once you have assigned it a name and saved it, you can set it to be displayed by default for every new shipment.
